Five creatures of the earth that could live in outer space

There is always a question in the minds of us all: "Are there any living creatures that can live and survive on other planets?" If we are talking about human beings, maybe not. But, maybe five creatures of the earth below can.

To survive, human beings always need life-supporting elements such as oxygen. But some creatures that exist on this earth turned out to have quite unique characteristics and these characteristics allow them to live in extreme conditions in space. Now, let's look at five super beings following:

Worms that live in ice Methane

I know, look at the photo above, you may be reminded of one of the creatures in the movie Alien. However, that looks pretty horrible creature above is actually a creature of the earth. Yes, he dwelt among us.

The creature is actually a worm that lives in the ice Methane is pushed to the surface of the seafloor near the coast of Mexico.

Ice Methane is a gas hydrate is formed naturally at high pressures and low temperatures in the deep seafloor.

According to experts from the Pennsylvania State University, the discovery of this worm has raised speculation about extraterrestrial life.

Erin McMullin, one of the researchers who co-discovered the worm said:

"It's great when we are busy speculating about life on other planets, we instead continue to discover new life forms that seemed not of earth."

Then, if we give a new place for him in outer space, where is a suitable place for him?The answer is in the Titan, a moon of Saturn.

On Titan, there is a sea of methane in layers. If we put this worm on Titan, there is a chance he could survive by inhabiting the ice layer.

Creatures that can live in a vacuum

After seeing the photo above, I believe, most of you will be remembered by a bear. Not wrong, too. But, being funny is not a bear. He was named Tardigrade. Because of its resemblance to a bear, he is also often referred to as the Bear of water.

In contrast to land a big bear, this creature has only about half a millimeter long. This makes it invisible to the naked eye.

But do not judge only by their size. This micro creatures belong to one of the most powerful beings on Earth.

He has a super power.

He could enter into a state of perfect silence called TUN. In this condition, these creatures can withstand the temperature fluctuations, even the most extreme ones.

In 2008, several tails joined Tardigrade sent into space and proved that they can even survive in a vacuum.

So, if we take it off into space, there is a possibility that this creature could wade up to find a suitable dwelling place for him.

Worm-eating giant sulfur

These creatures live on the edge of super-hot volcano deep in the ocean floor. And he ate sulfur bacteria carried by the local. This giant worm can grow up to 2.1 meters long and can live 5 miles below sea level in extreme pressure conditions. Their bodies were dominated by red color. This is because of the large vein that contains blood in it.

What's interesting about this worm is its ability to withstand the extreme heat and still remain able to receive adequate necessities of life.

Where a suitable place for him in outer space?

These creatures may be living on Venus where there is a tremendous source of sulfur that much.Antarctic iron-eating microbesBlood flowed freely in the Antarctic. Is there a massive slaughter of animals is in progress?

No! The element that turns red microbes dwelling in bodies of water that is trapped under the ice.According to Nature magazine:

"This fluid was trapped in the glacier for at least 1.5 million years old. In it, there are at least 30 types of bacteria that each has a unique chemical movement."

According to one researcher named Mikucki, these microbes use sulfate as a catalyst in a complex chain reaction which ultimately is the iron electron acceptor.

"This is an example of how an ecosystem managed to survive despite the darkness and covered by thick ice."

"Life Finds a Way."

With these characteristics, then these microbes may be able to live in Europa, a moon of Jupiter that have an ocean rich in iron under the thick layer of ice.

The bacteria that survived the radiation

 D. Radiodurans is the name of this bacterium. He was able to survive in a radiation dose that a thousand times stronger than human acceptable dose. This ability is acquired because of the unique DNA recovery system.

Man who received radiation generally die from the radioactive particles to destroy DNA. As a result the body's regulatory system was halted.

But these bacteria are amazingly able to reconstruct its DNA that has been destroyed.

One of the problems encountered when people try to live on the moon or Mars is the presence of radiation is quite deadly. If the bacteria are removed in space, then the radiation there will not be able to affect the body.

Thus, if one day we explore outer space and planets, do not be surprised if one day we can find a creature like this in there. Maybe.
