Was N7W ( New 7 Wonder ) , Hoax?

Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bern, Switzerland, revealed the mystery of the New7Wonders Foundation, organizer of the seven wonders of the world which include menomisasikan Komodo National Park. In fact, the Swiss Ambassador Djoko Susilo asserted that it doubted the New7Wonders Foundation

"The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bern, Switzerland, felt the need to give the following explanation," Djoko said in an e-mail dated October 31, 2011. And this chronology is Djoko.

1. December 2007, N7W announced the inauguration of the campaign. At this early stage was elected three tourist destinations of Indonesia and the nomination is the Komodo National Park, Lake Toba, and Son of Mount Krakatoa, along with 440 nominations from 220 countries.

2. August 2008, Indonesia signed up as the OSC and pay the administrative costs of each destination USD 199. 

3. On July 21, 2009, Komodo National Park Indonesia National Nominees and became one of 28 finalist nominations. 

 4. February 2010, the N7W Indonesia offered to host the N7W declaration which will be held on 11 November 2010. 

5. After exploring and several times held a meeting, on 25 November 2010 Indonesia expressed interest to host. 

6. On 6 December, the parties agree N7W Indonesia as the host with 'liscense fee' of 10 million U.S. dollars. 

7. On December 29, 2010, N7W Head of Communications issued a threat through N7W Eamon Fitzgerald who gave the deadline until January 31, 2011 to the Indonesian government, to declare his willingness to host. If that deadline is not until there is firmness, it will suspend N7W Komodo National Park status as a finalist N7W. 

8. Todung Mulya Lubis, attorney Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (formerly Kembudpar) RI, on February 2, 2011 sent a letter electronically to protest the planned elimination N7W and KNP as a finalist. Five days later, the letter was addressed with the address N7W lawyer in London. Contents, KNP is not eliminated, but the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenbudpar) can no longer be an official supporting committee (OSC). 

9. On February 11, 2011, Todung Mulya Lubis sent a letter via e-mail again and asked the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenbudpar) to return to OSC. The second letter was not answered. 

10. Fixed inclusion of KNP as a finalist without the participation of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenbudpar) as the OSC's make national pride harassed. Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy representing the Government of Indonesia should not come to promote it. 

11. Last week, the Maldives (Maldives), one of 28 finalists, withdrew from the competition was held N7W. Near the small island nation of Sri Lanka withdrew because of financial affairs N7W charged. 

12. On 28 April 2011, the Ministry of Tourism and Economic Kratif sent an eight-member delegation comprising ministry officials, a lawyer from the Office of the Attorney Lubis, Santosa & Maulana, and several national reporters to investigate the existence of N7W. 

13. Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and Liechtenstein Keharyapatihan, helping delegates from Jakarta to the investigation. Ambassador Djoko Susilo since it first arrived in Switzerland had been in contact with the chief editor of the Swiss national daily and always question the credibility of N7W Foundation. Greatly wondered at the Swiss national newspaper editors do not recognize the existence of N7W Foundation. 

14. The team from Jakarta who assisted Bern Embassy staff paid a visit to the address written as N7W Foundation office: Hoschgasse 8, PO Box 1212, 8034 Zurich. Apparently the postal code of the address given is not appropriate. Should address are: Hoschgasse 8, PO Box 1212, 8008 Zurich, where there are Heidi Weber Museum diarsiteki Le Corbusier and completed in 1967. The museum is only open in summer (June, July, August) from 14:00 to 17:00 hours. 

15. The team from Jakarta also to approach the office of Attorney Law Office of Patrick Sommer CMS von Erlach Henrici Ltd, for assistance. 

16. As a foundation, the existence of N7W quite unique. The foundation is not clearly address, e-mail addresses except for her, only written N7W stand in Panama, the Swiss legal entities, and his lawyer are in the UK.

17. Swiss people do not know N7W Foundation, and foundations are not part of the UNESCO.

18. As is known, in 1991, the Komodo National Park along the National Park Ujungkulon, Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple, included by UNESCO as world heritage.  

Because the reputation of UNESCO as the UN specialized agency which was founded in 1945 that far exceeded N7W, we should not be goaded by the rules of the game N7W.
